When we visited Colonial Williamsburg in January of this year, we discovered historic textiles and engravings that sparked a shared vision to honor America’s design heritage and keep its stories alive.

Today, that vision lives on in every piece of this collection. A portion of each sale supports the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation’s mission of research, preservation, and education, helping to keep our shared history alive for future generations.

The Governor’s Coverlet

The geometric basketweave design in a soft white colorway is a close replica of a coverlet in the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation archives made from cotton grown, spun, and woven by a Kentucky farmer, Mary Pettit, in 1819.
