Do you want to know the most amazing thing about cotton? Its wonderfully versatile! I love that the same cotton can go into a towel, quilt, sheets or a coverlet!

I've always loved our matelasse coverlets. They are oversized, lightweight and have an AMAZING drape over the bed. You honestly can use them to make your bed without any shams. Just pull the cover over the pillows, create a little crease and maybe add a bolster pillow and you are done. It's an amazing piece. 

While we loved our previous style and its vintage floral design, it was a little limiting and not as versatile as a lot of our other products. I believe Red Land Cotton makes great FOUNDATIONAL pieces for your home. Pieces that are high quality, long lasting and made from materials you can feel good about placing in your home. 


That's why we took another look at our matelasse coverlets this year. We altered the design to be more traditional and fit in more homes across America. With its smaller diamond pattern, its a piece that can stand a lone or be built on top of. 

The smaller diamonds make it a bit different from our Classic Quilts and its more lightweight and has a softer drape than the quilt. 


While it's a bit pricier, it's an investment piece for years to come. It's a solid piece that we believe can transform a bed. I recommend using it on a bed without a footboard to really get the dramatic effect as it falls to the floor.
