Our All-American Blankets are made from 100% cotton grown on our family farm in Alabama. Our cotton yarn is then spun in North Carolina and woven in Maine into these heirloom quality blankets. Woven in a traditional basket weave, these blankets are a staple for cooler nights.

Needless to say as soon as I finished inspecting it I took it right over to the washing machine so I could get it ready for my bed. It was so soft before I washed it but even softer afterward. - How tight is the weave? We have dogs that get on our bed and I dont want it to get snagged or pulled. We have some very inexpensive gauze type blankets that we love the weight but they snag horribly and look terrible.

- Where can I find the size of the blankets and washing instruction?
- The washing instructions from the weaver are "All washing should be done separately with no other items in the machine. Use a generous amount of water, Light detergent, and never use any fabric softener. Tumble dry on high heat but do not over-dry." - The throw and twin size blankets roughly weigh 5lbs Queen size weights 6lbs King size weighs 7lbs

- You should not experience much shrink at all if the blankets are washed on cool and dried on warm!
